3PL Rankings 2026: Viaposte named among France’s Top 20 logistics providers
Every year, Supply Chain Magazine’s 3PL rankings provide an overview of the leading players in France’s contract logistics market. Based on 2025 performance figures, the 2026 edition surveyed 132 logistics providers amid persistent economic and geopolitical uncertainty.
This year, Viaposte ranks 18th with a domestic logistics turnover of €243.6 million. This performance showcases the broad range of capabilities Viaposte has developed to support its clients.
A logistics sector facing ongoing transformation
Following a 2024 marked by sluggish consumer spending, slowing exports, and the hosting of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, logistics providers had to continue adapting throughout 2025.
Supply Chain Magazine highlights the impact of global uncertainty, amid trade tensions, the war in Ukraine, and disruptions affecting transport and energy costs. In this climate, the responsiveness of supply chain players remains critical.
The 2026 rankings also capture the wave of consolidation shaping the industry. Several companies have dropped out of the rankings following acquisitions or mergers.
Alongside this consolidation, the sector’s continuous drive to adapt builds on a trend already evident in the 2023 3PL rankings, where automation, service diversification and the adoption of operational management technologies were already playing a central role.
Viaposte ranks 18th with €243.6m in logistics revenue
With €243.6 million in logistics turnover in 2025, Viaposte takes 18th place in the rankings published by Supply Chain Magazine. The rankings consider data from operations spanning food and specialist retail distribution, fashion and textiles, DIY and gardening, and industrial logistics.
However, these segments represent only a fraction of Viaposte’s wider operations. Viaposte employs nearly 2,500 people across logistics, transport, industrial maintenance, and various support operations. Overall revenue came in at €662.6 million in 2025, of which €629.6 million came from logistics and transport, and €33 million from industrial maintenance.
Its operational footprint combines:
- 40 directly operated facilities, including industrial, air freight and transport hubs
- 92 on-site operations at client premises, covering logistics, maintenance, and transport
- Nationwide coverage across France, alongside operations in Belgium
Viaposte: capabilities that evolve with market needs
Beyond the rankings, Viaposte is pressing ahead with the transformation of its business. With 85% of its directly operated facilities now automated with sorting equipment, Viaposte is rolling out new capabilities, including a unified Warehouse Control System (WCS), and AI-driven maintenance applications.
The year 2025 saw several notable developments:
- Biogas accounted for 21% of total fleet kilometres
- Employees with disabilities rose to 4.78%, up from 3.84% in 2024
- Female representation in management roles rose by 1.37 percentage points.
Viaposte was also named a winner at the 2025 Agora Awards in the ‘Intralogistics’ category, in recognition of its development of new equipment refurbishment and reuse capabilities. These include the offer of leasing and pre-owned solutions, as well as the adaptation of equipment to site-specific requirements, to extend asset lifespans and promote reuse.
On the operational front, Viaposte consolidated its Saint-Thibault-des-Vignes and Le Bourget operations in a larger, more modern facility in Marly-la-Ville. At the leadership level, Christophe Baboin took the helm as Managing Director in January 2026.
Together, these developments underscore the continuous transformation taking place in the logistics sector. In a market shaped by new demands around performance, industrialisation and environmental sustainability, Viaposte continues to develop integrated solutions across logistics, transport and maintenance to support its clients’ evolving needs.
